The Consumers’ Association of Canada says Travelers are becoming increasingly wary of the BC Ferry System
()

The recent actions of the Ferry and Marine Workers Union in resisting drug testing on “Privacy” grounds is bizarre, especially when coupled by the wimpy lack of resolve on the part The Ferry Corporation Management to implement a testing program.

“The BC Ferry System, the largest in the world, has always been considered part of the highway structure. Why then is the Government of BC not stepping in to swiftly restore public confidence in this essential service”. said CAC President, Bruce Cran. “Both the Union and management should understand that unless the public is reassured then every member of every crew will be suspect” he added.
